Ingredients:
- 3 cups of warm water
- 1 tablespoon yeast
- ΒΌ cup of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 8-10 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons cornmeal
- 3 (8 ounce) cans of tomato sauce
- 6 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Preparation
- Add water, sugar, salt, and yeast into a mixing bowl.
- Let it sit for 10 minutes or until yeast turns into bubbles.
- Mix in flour until dough is not wet and can be kneaded.
- Knead dough until smooth.
- Let the dough rise from 30 β 60 minutes
- Pre-heat over at 475 degrees.
- Split dough into 3-5 pieces.
- Sprinkle corn meal onto each pan.
- Roll dough out to the size of your pizza pan.
- Spread tomato sauce onto dough.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of sauce.
- Add additional toppings such as pepperoni, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and other toppings, as desired.
- Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until dough is crispy and fully cooked.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Serves 2-4 people.
